Just goes to show you should never give up. Here we are at the arse end of the season and on Saturday we had probably the best dive of the year. Flat calm, 6m viz, long slack, all enjoyed themselves and the only thing that broke was the radar reflector; and Rowley got to christen his shiny new suit! so I think we can call that a cracking dive. lets hope there are more before winter comes.
There will be another O2 course in the near future; all interested please get in touch. Apparently its good to know what is in those mystery boxes on the boat!
Here we are at the start of another fantastic diving season in the Southern North Sea. Make sure you've had a couple of work up dives before you turn up on the beach wanting to go to 30 m. Offshore viz is usually better early in the season but it may be near the 30 m. mark so be ready. We have a new engine for the RIB and the compressor is now the all singing silent model so let's hope for a great year. You know the system, get in touch with me, steve, roy, or rowley to get your name on the boat crew. I'll see you all on the beach at sometime during the season.
Is this the end? as Jim once asked. There's still October and November and December to go. You never know we may still have reasonable viz at Christmas! Viz on the last w/e was about 6m so we cannot complain. Call me or Steve if you're still keen.
Its the Mediterranean type viz that's putting a smile on the face of the divers as the boat comes alongside. This is it, the best diving of the year; lets hope it lasts till Oct.
